On their own, these numbers are one piece of information — we recommend reviewing them alongside your symptoms, history and cycle timing with your own licensed healthcare professional to see whether they are useful in your specific situation.
Once the lab receives your sample, results are typically ready within one to two weeks. Your full-color report is then reviewed by our hormone health coach team, and you schedule your one-on-one consult to go over everything.
They are different tools. Serum (blood) testing is the reference standard that professional societies rely on, and salivary hormone testing is not recommended by groups such as ACOG and the Endocrine Society as the basis for dosing decisions.
